APPLY FOR A RESEARCH GRANT FROM SSAI!

SSAI and The Acta Foundation support clinical research within all fields of our speciality: anaesthesia, intensive care medicine, pain treatment and emergency medicine/resuscitation. Projects involving inter-Nordic collaboration are given priority.

The funding policy of the SSAI research grants has recently been revised to increase the possible sum of money allocated each project. Research grants for 2009 and forwards will be recommended biannually and the total available sum presently amounts to 300 000 DK. All details of the RC policy can be found by clicking the Research Committee using the left-hand menu.

Please use the Grant Application Form on this web-site to express your interest in receiving support for your project. Note that a complete study description must be attached as a separate document. A preliminary financial plan should also be detailed. The SSAI RC will review all applications with the aim to identify three qualifying projects. Applicants may be contacted to provide further information if needed, so please check that all contact details are correct and updated.

Applications should be received by the December 2010. Please check back at this website to get updated information as the deadline is approaching. All applications should be addressed to the present chairman of the RC, Dr. Anders Åneman. Further information can be obtained by contacting the RC chairman or any of the national representatives (contact details provided in the Research Committee menu).
