New guidelines on pre-hospital airway management: Update from the task force from the Scandinavian Society for Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine.
The Scandinavian Society for Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine (SSAI) has asked the task force on pre-hospital airway management to update the guidelines originally published in 2008 [1]. The group will systematically identify and incorporate evidence into the revised guideline that hopefully will support decision-making in airway management for all groups of pre-hospital emergency health care providers. We aim to have a dialogue with relevant stakeholders and hereby invite all SSAI members with interests in pre-hospital airway management to provide comments on the previous version and questions related to the new version. The group will handle all suggestions after the national representative has received them.
